Week 4 Pupdate!
Welcome to week 4 with our sweet Southland Goldens babies!
I had told everyone that week 4 is usually when things start getting really fun, and that is still true. This is often the age when puppies start becoming more active, curious, and begin showing more of their little personalities.
This litter is just a little different. Since there are only two puppies, they are big, well fed babies and are taking their time getting moving. They have had plenty of room to grow and no littermates to compete with, and it definitely shows.
Even though they are not quite as mobile yet as some puppies are at this age, they are doing great and developing on their own timeline. We are still seeing them get stronger every day, and it should not be long before they are up, moving around, and keeping us busy.
Sometimes smaller litters just do things a little differently, and I think once these two get going, they are going to be a lot of fun to watch.
