We’re so excited to share that Birdie and River’s litter has arrived! Birdie did great and is resting comfortably with her new babies. She delivered six beautiful puppies on December 13th… two boys and four girls… and everyone is doing well!!!

Starting Monday, December 22nd, we’ll begin sending out weekly pupdates and videos every Monday so you can follow along as the puppies grow and develop each week. These updates will be shared right here on the blog.

Weekly pupdates and videos every Monday starting December 22nd

The picking process will begin once the puppies are 6 weeks old and will go in the order deposits were received

When they reach 6 weeks, our photographer will visit to take individual photos of each puppy… we’ll share those on the blog too

Before the puppies go home, we’ll post their daily schedule to help make the transition smoother

Going home day will be February 7th, when the puppies are 8 weeks old

Puppies will receive their first round of vaccines at 6 weeks and will be ready for their second round at 9 weeks
All Southland Goldens puppies go through ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) exercises from days 3–16. There’s a separate blog post that explains what these are and why they’re so beneficial… be sure to check it out.

Each puppy has their color collar… and they’ll keep those same colors until they go home.
